Jim began his career in real estate with Stonebridge Development Company as a principal and property manager in 1994. At Stonebridge, he was involved in residential land development, apartment rehabilitation and management, office development and leasing. In addition, to the Stonebridge portfolio, he managed the Chelsea House condominium office building for Heritage Properties, Inc.

Jim joined Heritage Properties, Inc. in 1997 as a property and leasing manager for the company’s assets in the greater Baltimore Metropolitan Area.

In 1999, Jim was promoted to Vice President, Asset Management at which time he became responsible for property management and leasing for the entire Heritage portfolio.

Jim was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Properties, Inc. in 2005.

His professional affiliations include the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, Towson Chamber of Commerce, Building Owners and Managers Association, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Active in community affairs, Jim serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Towson Committee and on the Board of Directors for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore. He has also served on the Advisory Council for The Orange and Blue Club of Gettysburg College. Jim also volunteers his time coaching lacrosse and basketball for the Lutherville-Timonium Recreation Council.

Jim earned his Bachelors Degree at Gettysburg College and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Lynchburg College.
